There's something to be said about our relationships to the most significant cities/towns in our lives, changing their shape as we warm up towards ourselves. Ah! I went to China (bounced around Tianjin, Beijing, and Dongguan mostly) in 2019 for a month for an internship I was involved in / to visit some friends from my church. I would love to go back.... I know I would appreciate a lot of aspects so much more now. And agh I miss all that food so much. Maybe one day I'll get to do another trip over there. :) This post is a beautiful love letter of sorts to this city. Excited to see the food guide soon!!!
